For the second year in the row, De Los Santos Medical Center (DLSMC) hosted the I Love My Family Foundation’s Medical Mission for the Members of the Media (M4) last September 4. A brainchild of radio anchor and media personality Ahwel Paz, the endeavor promotes the importance of health awareness among media members and their families. During the event, the hospital provided free diagnostic services and medical consultations.
“Due to the nature of their jobs, media practitioners – just like our nurses – are oftentimes overworked,” acknowledged De Los Santos Med President and CEO Raul C. Pagdanganan. “Therefore, we understand how vital it is for them to have yearly check-ups.”
“After growing up along the train tracks in Sampaloc, Manila, it’s truly a blessing to now have the means to give back to my colleagues from the press and media,” Ahwel Paz remarked. “I would like to thank everyone – our doctors, nurses and friends from DLSMC – who spent their Sunday away from their families to be with me and my media family during my birthday celebration.”
“We’re pleased to have contributed in safeguarding the long-term health of our friends from the media―the pillars of democracy here in our country,” Pagdanganan affirmed.
De los Santos Med is a subsidiary of the MVP Group of Companies under the umbrella of Metro Pacific Hospital Holdings, Inc., the hospital investment arm of Manuel V. Pangilinan’s Metro Pacific Investment Corporation (MPIC).
