Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a scanning technique that uses a magnetic field and radio waves to create detailed images of the organs and tissues within your body. It is used to examine internal body structures, and help doctors diagnose and plan treatments for a variety of disorders such as injuries, strokes, tumors, aneurysms, and multiple sclerosis.
