1.1 Accessing CheckAppRx

Q:

How can I access CheckAppRx?

A:

Q:

Is there a CheckAppRx Mobile App?

A:

 

As of now, there ise none but it is part of our road map.

CheckAppRx is a PROGRESSIVE WEB APP so it can be accessed from a Mobile Phone or Tablet and will adjust depending on the device that you are using. 

 

Q:

How can I start using CheckAppRx?

A:

Just go the CheckAppRx website, then select Register from the Sign-in drop-down selected.

 

1.2 Booking Doctor Consultations

Q:

Do I need to complete my Profile?

A:

 

Yes. Before you can book an Appointment in CheckAppRx, you need to complete your Profile.

There will be a reminder in the Patient Portal:

Before you proceed with booking an appointment. Please ensure your information is updated. To update your profile, please click here.

 

You can click the “here” link and you will be redirected to your Profile Page.

 

You just need to complete the required fields (marked with *) to proceed.

 

Q:

How to I find a Doctor with specific Specialization?

A:

The best way is to use the Find a Doctor page.

Search the Specialization that you need and the list of Doctors with that Specialization will be listed.

 

Q:

Can I use CheckAppRx to book Virtual Consutlations? How about Face to Face Consultations?

A:

Yes, you can book Virtual Consultations (Telemedicine) and Face-to-Face Consultations in CheckAppRx.

From the Find a Doctor Page, after choosing the Specialization you can see if a particular doctor accepts Virtual Consultation or Face-to-Face Consultation, or both.

Just click on the type of consultation that you want then you will be redirectd to the Appointment Details Page where you can start booking. 

 

Q:

How will I know the schedule of the doctor for Face-to-Face and Virtual Consultations?

A:

The Appointment Page will open after to select Book an Appointment.

In the Appointment Page, after filling up: Apppointment Type, Preferred Hospital, and Specialization, and Preferred Doctor ..

The Preferred Consultation Date and Timeslot will be displayed.

In the Preferred Consultation Date, the dates with the available doctor schedules are in BOLD and the dates with no available schedule is GRAYED and  will appear when hovered on top of the specific date.

After selected a specific Date, you can see and select the available time-slot on that date. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Doctors stills need to CONFIRM the selected Time Slot before you can Pay. Only after your Payment can the Appointmen be BOOKED. 

 

Q:

How long should I wait for the Doctor to confirm the consultation?

A:

 

Based on our Service Level Agreement with the Doctors, the Doctor will be able to CONFIRM consultations within 8 hours.

Appointments that are NOT CONFIRMED within that time will be automatically CANCELLED, thus you need to book another appointment.

 

                                                              

1.3 Doctors Fees and Payment

Q:

How will I know the Consultation Fees of the Doctors?

A:

 

You will receive an email and an SMS when your Appointment that you submitted is CONFIRMED by the Doctor.

The confirmation will include the Payment Details for the Consultation.

 

Q:

Can I choose not to pay, if I find the Consultation Fees as very expensive? What will happen to my appointment?

A:

You have the choice not to pay, and the Consultations that are not paid after 4 hours will be CANCELLED.

 

Q:

What Payment Methods are accepted by CheckAppRx?

A:

 

The following Online Payment Methods are accepted:

-          Credit Card

-          Debit Card

-          eWallets (PayMaya, GCash, WeChat)

-          DragonPay Mode of Payments

 

Q:

Does CheckAppRx accept HMO as payment?

A:

 

Yes. You can select HMO as the mode of payment.

 

The Patient can just upload a valid and signed LOA.

The Doctor will verify the validity of the LOA for him/her to CONFIRM the Appointment.

 

Q:

Does CheckAppRx honor Government mandated discounts?

A:

Yes.

Just make sure that a valid Discount ID is included in your profile or profile of your dependent.

 

1.4 Booking Dependents

Q:

Can I book for my small children? How about for my elderly parents?

A:

Yes.

Go to Manage My Dependents under the Profile Management selection.

You can click on Add a New Dependent to create your Dependents Profile.

You can create as many Dependents that you have.

After this, you can now book Consultations by selecting your Dependents name.

 

1.4 Booking Outpatient Services (Diagnostic Tests, Laboratory Tests)

Q:

Do I need to book a Consultation first before I can book for a Diagnostic or Laboratory Test? 

A:

If you already have a valid Diagnostic or Laboratory Prescription from another doctor or hospital, then you DO NOT need to book a consultation.


You can just upload your valid Diagnostic or Laboratory Prescription in CheckAppRx.

Our Diagnostic Center Hospital Staff will verify the prescription and CONFIRM your Appointment.

 

Q:

How do I book a Diagnostic or Laboratory Test in CheckAppRx?

A:

Start with Book an Appointment, then from the Appointment Details Page, select Outpatient Services from the Appointment Type field.

Select the Hospital.

Then, Select the specific Diagnostic Center.

 

Then, Select the specific Service or Test that you need.

 

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1)      If you need more than one test from the SAME Diagnostic Center, please encode the other tests in the Reason for Consultation section.

2)      If you need another test from a DIFFERENT Diagnostic Center, then you need to book separately in Outpatient Services

 

Then Select the Preferred Date and Time.

 

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1)      The selected time may not be always followed.

2)      The Diagnostic Center still needs to CONFIRM the selected Date before you can Pay. Only after Payment that the Appointment will be BOOKED.

 

Q:

How long do I need to wait for the CONFIRMATION from the Diagnostic Center?

A:

The Service Level Agreement that we have from our Diagnostic Centers is 8 hours.

 

Q:

How much time do I need to pay the CONFIRMED Appointments?

A:

You need to pay within 4 hours after you receive your CONFIRMATION.

Non-payment will automatically CANCEL the Appointment.

 

1.4 Pharmacy Order

Q:

Do I need to go through consultation in CheckAppRx before I can order medicine?

A:

No. You may order medicines through CheckAppRx using any prescription by uploading a copy of your valid prescription.

 

Q:

Do I need to provide prescription for medicines that I will order?

A:

If the medicines you will order require a prescription, then you will need to provide a prescription.

 

Q:

Do I need to go through consultation in CheckAppRx before I can order medicine?

A:

No. You may order medicines through CheckAppRx using any prescription by uploading a copy of your valid prescription.

 

Q:

Can I order on behalf of another person?

A:

Yes, you may order on behalf of another person or your dependent.

 

Q:

How can I get the medicines I ordered?

A:

You have the option to (1) pick up the medicines at your selected Outpatient Pharmacy or (2) have your order delivered to your designated address.

 

Q:

When I receive the price and availability from the pharmacy, can I still change the quantity?

A:

No. Once the pharmacy has confirmed your order, you can no longer change the quantity.

 

Q:

If I am a Senior Citizen, will the SC discount be applied to my medicine order?

A:

Yes, but you have to upload a copy of your Senior Citizen card.

 

Q:

If I am ordering the medicine on behalf of a senior citizen, will the SC discount be applied to the medicine order?

 

A:

Yes, for as long as the senior citizen card details are provided and copy of the SC card is uploaded.
